Na co dzień pan Piotr jest autorem plakatów, grafik i innych prac dla Opery Wrocławskiej, dzięki którym świat może usłyszeć i…zobaczyć, co się dzieje w repertuarze 😊
Poza pracą w naszej instytucji jest też wykładowcą na ASP we Wrocławiu na Wydziale Rzeźby i Mediacji Sztuki. Zajmuje się grafiką użytkową, a jego prace prezentowane były na wystawach w kraju i zagranicą, m.in. w Katowicach i Poznaniu oraz w Finlandii, Boliwii, Meksyku, Rosji, Chinach, Korei Południowej oraz na Węgrzech.
W swoich pracach staram się badać możliwości jakie daje przekazywanie idei, komunikatu za pomocą języka graficznego. Lubię prostotę przekazu, błyskotliwe skróty myślowe i intrygującą formę, a jednocześnie nawiązywanie do treści spektaklu, który ilustruję. Gdybym miał wskazać artystów grafików, którzy są dla mnie wzorem, byliby to Jakub Stępień, czyli projektant Hakobo, oraz Krzysztof Iwański. Bardzo doceniam też prace Lexa Drewinskiego.
Prace Piotra Olejarza możecie również podziwiać we Wrocławskim Klubie Formaty. Do połowy lutego trwa tam wystawa jego plakatów, którą otworzył wernisaż połączony z koncertem Macieja Stawiskiego i Wiktorii Bińczyk, znanej z programu ,,The Voice of Poland”. Kierujcie się na ulicę Samborską 3-5!

The works of our opera graphic artist Piotr Olejarz qualified for the post-competition exhibition and TXT-EXPERIMENT exhibition in the 5th edition of the International Lublin Poster Biennale!
On a daily basis, Mr Olejarz uses his skills to create posters, graphics and other works for the Wrocław Opera, allowing the world to hear and…see what is happening in the repertoire. 😊
He divides his work in our institution with the position of a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw at the Faculty of Sculpture and Art Mediation. He deals with applied graphics, and his works have been presented at exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including Katowice and Poznań, Finland, Bolivia, Mexico, Russia, China, South Korea and Hungary.
In my work I try to explore the possibilities of conveying an idea or message through graphic language. I like the simplicity of the message, brilliant mental shortcuts and an intriguing form, while at the same time referring to the content of the performance I illustrate. If I had to name graphic artists who are my role models, it would be Jakub Stępień, the designer of Hakobo, and Krzysztof Iwański. I also really appreciate the work of Lex Drewinski.

An exhibition of his posters is being held there until mid-February, opened by an vernissage combined with a concert by Maciej Stawiski and Wiktoria Bińczyk, known from “The Voice of Poland” programme.
