dziś obudziliśmy się w innej Europie. Tutaj, we Wrocławiu Ukrainki i Ukraińcy są naszymi sąsiadami, przyjaciółmi, członkami rodzin, pracownikami naszej instytucji. Nasze myśli i serca są teraz z nimi i ich rodzinami.
Wieczorem budynek opery rozświetliliśmy barwami narodowymi Ukrainy.
Tym symbolicznym gestem chcemy wyrazić solidarność Opery Wrocławskiej z Ukrainą i jej obywatelami. Z nadzieją i wiarą w pokojowe rozwiązania.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Today we have woken up in a different Europe. Here in Wroclaw, Ukrainians are our neighbours, friends, family members and employees of our institution. Our thoughts and hearts are now with them and their families.
In the evening we light up the opera house in Ukraine’s national colours.
With this symbolic gesture, we wish to express the solidarity of the Wroclaw Opera with Ukraine and its people. With hope and faith in peaceful solutions.
